SHIPPING & HANDLING FEES:
Some folks have inquired as to why our shipping/handling charge is SO high.
We started as an Amazon Marketplace vendor and we still are!
Under our contract with Amazon, our books must not sell at this website for less than they would sell for on Amazon.
We take our agreement with Amazon VERY seriously as Amazon still accounts for 95% of our sales to date.
Therefore, we charge the same base shipping/handling fee price here as Amazon does $6.50
Here at Bailey Books we subscribed to the KISS theory!!
We DO however off combined shipping here at our site, something you cannot get right away at Amazon!!
Regular Parcel Shipping & Handling Fee - Canada
First book fee: $6.50
Additional books: $3.50 each
XpressPost - Regional Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB)
First book fee: $16.50
Additional books: $10.00 each
XpressPost - National Canada (all other provinces)
First book fee: $30.00 Additional books: $15.00 each
USA Air Service
First book fee: $16.00 Additional books: $8.00 each
USA XpressPost
First book fee: $28.00 Additional books: $10.00 each
International XpressPost
First book fee: $66.50 Additional books: $5.00 each until the envelope is full!
Depending on the size of the books this could be 1 extra book - 4 extra books.
I suggest emailing us a list of titles in priority sequence & we will see how many we can get into the envelope!
Local Pick-ups
"I am local. Can I pick up and save the shipping costs?"
Yes, upon contacting us, you can pick up your order locally in order to save the postage only part of the order.
The handling fee which covers the picking, cleaning and preparations of the order will still apply - $3.00/book ordered.
If you are ordering over 10 books, we will negotiate this fee.
